TUSA | WW3 Averted? [EXPLICIT]

The "anti-war" Trump Regime enforces a ceasefire in the conflict that it started on a whim. Don't get too comfy, though.

Hey friend,

I discussed all the sudden developments surrounding Israel’s and the Trump Regime’s unprovoked attacks on Iran “THE 12 DAY WAR.” It’s a good one.

Jesus Christ, bro really needs to remember to take his dementia pills.

Unfortunately, there’s a major elephant in the room that I could only give minimal attention to: Zohran Mamdani’s victory in the Democratic New York City mayoral primary election on Tuesday night.

I’ll share all of my thoughts on that next week, as it has some very positive implications for the future of the Democratic Party.

Turns out, when you run a campaign that promotes light socialists politics as a solution to the increasing cost of living, and when you stand your ground against war criminals and their supporters, people tend to like you! Who would’ve thought?!

For now, enjoy some ranting and raving at the American Imperial War Machine™ and the bipartisan team of bloodthirsty psychopaths who perpetuate it.

Same show, different station

It’s still the show that you know and love: Roughly one hour of the left-leaning political commentary you’ve come to expect from me, and one hour of mostly punk and rap music.

The show broadcasts every Thursday, 4-6 PM on Radio Free Nashville—WRFN-LP 103.7 and 107.1 FM.

Radio Free Nashville is a 100-watt low-powered community radio station, meaning that you’re not gonna pick up the signal on your FM radio if you’re outside of the Nashville area.

The good news is that you can still tune in online here!

Can’t tune in at that time? Stop by The Kennel to check out the uncensored video recordings of the commentary segments!

Unfortunately, copyright law prohibits me from sharing a recording of the DJ sessions 😒

You know your friends wanna be spammed with political podcasts episodes. SHARE THIS SHIT!🐶

Why Stick with the ‘ol Radio? And Why Radio Free Nashville?

From a purely apolitical perspective, producing such a show in a context where others are expecting me to get an episode out at a certain time makes me directly accountable to others for getting an episode produced each week. A radio station, profit or non-profit, is well-structured for facilitating that accountability.

But why Radio Free Nashville?

For one, it’s a non-profit low-powered community radio station. It is legally barred from trying to sell listeners a bunch of products, and alleviates itself of having to boost profit margins. Rather, the goal is to provide quality, entertaining, and/or informative radio programming for the local community. For those familiar with my views on the systemic issues plaguing our news media outlets right now, this is the sort of motive that I want to be producing a political commentary show with.

Moreover, while some of these community stations don’t explicitly intend to counteract corporate control of the airwaves, RFN does. As it details on its “About Us” page, the radio industry (like virtually all industries in our hyper-capitalist hellscape) is consolidated to a comical extent, left in the hands of a few media conglomerates like iHeartMedia.

RFN sticks its middle fingers up to those companies that are suffocating our airwaves, and instead, opts to provide a healthy mix of locally-produced community shows like this, and larger syndicated programs like Democracy Now!, Code Pink, The Thom Hartmann Program, and more.

Sure, with the current FCC Chair Brendan Carr threatening baseless investigations into PBS and NPR over suspicions of illegal advertising, and with Congress continuing to ignore the disastrous effects of the 1996 Telecommunications Act, there is little hope to feel for any improvements to this shitshow.

Nonetheless, RFN is waging a noble battle, and I couldn’t be more proud to join that fight with them.
